‘I will die on this hill because of Todd Boehly’, ‘Rival fans are not laughing now’: Chelsea fans wants more from Chelsea star after an ‘incredible’ performance in 4-1 win over Burnley

Raheem Sterling has won deserved praise for his man-of-the-match performance in the Burnley win when he participated in each of the Blues’ four goals, scoring one of them.

However, the performance of his former Man City teammate Cole Palmer should not go under the radar.

The 21-year-old scored his first Chelsea goal by converting a penalty that was won by Sterling. He followed that up with an assist for Nicolas Jackson who made it 4-1.

Palmer has so far made only six appearances for the Blues – but the fans are already happy with what they’ve seen.

Mod, X: “Cole Palmer goal and assist, thank you Man City, this guy is incredible.”

CS10x7, Reddit: “Wasn’t sure about him at first, he really just needs gametime to shine. Multiple assists from tricky direct passes through defenders now, what a player.”

Pys, X: “3 G/A in his last 3 matches, loads of room to improve especially out wide but what a start it has been for Cole Palmer at Chelsea.”

SwitcherooU, Reddit: “He was a bright spot right out of the gate, when the rest of the team looked terrible. Good job front office—this guy could be a cornerstone piece.”

CFC-Blues, X: “Cole Palmer is a special talent. Rival fans are not laughing now”

Nizaar_Kinsella, Reddit: “Best signing we’ve made in 3 windows. I will die on this hill”

Janty, X: “We spent just 40M on Palmer while a certain club spent 65M on Havertz”
