‘I’m not dodging’ – Frank Lampard reacted to Roman Abramovich’s latest decision on stepping away from Chelsea

Former Chelsea coach Frank Lampard is currently Everton’s head coach, and the 43-year-old won 13 trophies at Chelsea during Abramovich’s reign.

However, Frank Lampard go on to manage Chelsea for 18 months before being axed in 2021.

Well, The Everton manager was asked about Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich choosing to step away from control of Chelsea after his Everton team were beaten at home to Premier League leaders Manchester City on Saturday.

In response, Lampard insisted he wasn’t ‘dodging’ the question, but refused to comment as he was not aware of the details.

“I don’t know,” the ex-Chelsea midfielder and manager told Sky Sports’ Geoff Shreeves.

“I’ve been told that just before I came on so I’m not dodging. I don’t know any detail about it so I can’t [comment].”
