“Insane player” – Chelsea fans left shocked after what Cole Palmer did against Aston Villa “He’s a professional footballer”

Fans were astounded to see a viral video of Cole Palmer’s “insane” pass during Chelsea’s tie with Aston Vila.

Palmer made his comeback in Saturday’s 2-2 tie, and one play in particular stood out as he immediately found Mykhailo Mudryk after receiving the ball after Marc Cucurella’s throw-in.

Palmer, 21, displayed outstanding close control in the video, and many fans believe it demonstrates the true talent of professional football players.

Fans were given an other perspective from what they typically see on television when watching the clip, which was shot from the stands at Villa Park.

One user wrote on X: ‘its easy to forget how good pro footballers are when we’re sat there watching it from the stands or at home how effortless has he made that look’.

Another user described Palmer’s pass as ‘ridiculous’. They wrote: ‘this angle makes you appreciate players even more, ridiculous skill’.

Furthermore, another user described Palmer as an ‘insane’ talent. They wrote: ‘The talent on this lad is insane.’

In addition, another stated that Palmer ‘makes it look so easy’.

Another user wrote that television coverage of games doesn’t show how good players are. They wrote: ‘Tv really doesn’t do justice to the amount of tekk football players have man’.

Palmer has been hugely impressive for Chelsea since signing from Manchester City last summer.

Now an England international, he has scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists in 40 appearances for Chelsea.

Villa were 2-0 up following an own goal from Cucurella and an effort from Morgan Rogers.

However, Chelsea managed to secure a point, with Noni Madueke getting a goal back before Conor Gallagher equalised.
