“Is the fact, no secret about it” – Dortmund chief finally reveals how Haaland could join Chelsea
January transfer window is around the corner and the Blues will be looking forward to make some signings due to some injuries in the squad.
However, report claims that the Blues remain interested in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland despite signing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan for a club record fee.
The Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc has confirmed Haaland has a release clause which Chelsea must meet if the Blues want the striker.
Zorc said: “The fact is that he has a contract.
“But it’s also a fact, and this is no secret, that he can leave the club under certain conditions.”
Haaland has a release clause of between £68-£75million in his contract which becomes active at the end of the season.
