‘Is this Chelsea’s worst game of the season? Tuchel finally reveals Chelsea worst game

The Blues started the season in a great form, as the Blues were top of the league for nine weeks before losing top spot to Manchester City.

However, in recent weeks, Chelsea’s performance has dipped, as the Blues played out a 1-1 draw with Burnley despite a good performance. Chelsea also played played a disappointing 1-1 draw with Manchester United, and laboured to beat Watford 2-1.

Furthermore, The 3-2 victory over Leeds United wasn’t a fine performance, and Thomas Tuchel’s side showed nervousness against Everton, after scoring in 70th minute, only to conceded four minutes later and end the game 1-1.

The latest of Chelsea’s disappointing results was the goalless draw against Wolves, but Tuchel doesn’t feel it’s Chelsea’s worst game in terms of performance.

Tuchel told the press after the draw against Wolves: “We started very well in the first five minutes, then we lost a bit of confidence.”

“We grew into it and the reaction was very good. The second half was very strong, I’m absolutely happy with the second half.

“We had this one big chance with Christian that we were waiting for, because it’s tough to create chances against Wolves and it’s tough to score against them.

“I think we did by far enough to win this game. We had a clean sheet again, a well-deserved clean sheet, so a lot of positive things.

“All together I can absolutely live with it. We have won games where we played much worse, this is for sure.”
