Italians arrive in London to wrap up Chelsea deal for £375k-a-week star

Romelu Lukaku’s long-awaited second exit from CHELSEA appears to be near with Roma’s board in London for talks.

Lukaku was at Inter Milan on loan last season and almost helped the Italians win the Champions League – but they were unable to get past the dominant Man City.

His loan deal at the Italians ended at the beginning of the summer – and there has been alot of speculation about his future – with many clubs linked with a possible deal after the club made the decision to let him leave.

But despite the fact the club dont have a proven striker – the decision has been made to allow Lukaku to depart the club – and now it looks like he could be heading back to Italian football.

His agent, lawyer Sebastien Ledure reportedly confirmed the move is close by changing his WhatsApp profile picture to a photo of him sitting in the Roma dugout.

Club president Dan Friedkin was spotted at Stamford Bridge for the Premier League clash with Luton Town, in a stadium which also contained chairman Todd Boehly.

General manager Tiago Pinto was also seen and held talks with Boehly in the belly of the Bridge according to reports in Italy.

Those conversations were over a loan for Lukaku, who is desperate to find his way out of west London after failing to agree moves with Inter Milan and Juventus.
