‘It’s up to me now’: Lukaku sends touching message to Chelsea fans
Following Romelu Lukaku’s bad comments on Chelsea, Tuchel and his teammates, the Belgian international as issue an apology message to Chelsea fans.
However, Romelu Lukaku made headlines with his quotes to Sky Italy a few days ago where the striker said that he was not happy with his situation at the club and wasn’t a fan of Thomas Tuchel’s system.
Tuchel had a private meeting with the striker and the two sorted out the issues, with Lukaku apologising for his comments. Now, the striker has sent out an apology video to the fans:
“I want to say sorry to the Chelsea fans for the upset I have caused. I can totally understand you guys being upset. It’s up to me now to restore your trust and I’ll do my best to show my commitment on the training field and in the games,” the striker told Chelseafc official website.
We can’t deny that Lukaku’s original comments to Sky were unnecessary. He is now owning up to that mistake, so we’re sure that the fans will forgive him as long as he backs his words with action on the field.
