Former Chelsea player John Terry was at Stamford Bridge as the Blues picked up a 2-0 win over Liverpool in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Tuesday night.
Goals from Willian and Ross Barkley helped Chelsea secure the victory over Liverpool and seal our place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Terry was in attendance at Stamford Bridge alongside Chelsea greats Petr Cech and Michael Ballack, as the Blues cruised into the last eight of the FA Cup.
Terry was impressed with the performance of the team against Liverpool and wrote on Instagram: “Good performance from Chelsea tonight.”
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was delighted with the performance his team put on in front of Terry and co.
“It was an impressive performance,” Lampard said.
“It is hard to be comprehensive against Liverpool because of the team that they are, but I couldn’t have asked for any more with the spirit, the work ethic and the quality.
“You’ve got to defend well to keep a clean sheet against them because of the team that they are, but we deserved to win the game.”
