Join the petition now! as Chelsea fans plans Stamford Bridge protest against Ricketts family taking over Chelsea. Date confirmed
According to latest reports, The group of bidders for Chelsea has been reduced to just a handful now, and that’s causing some concern with some fans given one of the groups still in play.
However, The Ricketts family, owners of the Chicago Cubs, are a mixed bunch, but several of them have said some pretty horrific and racist things in the past, and despite their best efforts to massage the PR around their bid, many Blues fans just aren’t having it.
The fact that they have made it to this stage, and are considered as one of Raine Group’s favourites, means things have reached a critical point, and Chelsea fans are rapidly organising a protest at Stamford Bridge this Saturday at noon before the game against Brentford.
There was a superb turnout for the anti-Super League protests a year ago, and we hope that similar numbers will attend the demonstration on Saturday.
Whether it will sway Raine’s decision is another question.
