Jorginho reacted to Chelsea signing Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge
Lukaku only made 15 appearances for Chelsea during his first spell at the club, and after a series of loan spell, he was sold off to Everton.
From Everton he made a £75m move to Manchester United but was again sold by United, as he wasn’t appreciated by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer despite his decent scoring record.
Lukaku has seemed a different player since going to Inter Milan, and the Belgian has now reached those heights he was destined to attain.
Lukaku scored 64 goals in 95 matches for Inter Milan over the past two seasons. The 28-year-old scored 34 goals in his first campaign in Milan and another 30 last season to help Antonio Conte’s side win the Serie A title.
The Belgian is now tipped with a return to where he has unfinished business at, and even Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, is also looking forward to the signing.
“A player like Lukaku, who has been doing great seasons, was a champion in Italy, for sure is a player who would contribute a lot,” Jorginho told TNT Sports.
“Anyone who comes to contribute would be worth it. Let’s see what happens next.”
Jorginho also revealed that his aim for the new season is to win titles.
“My focus is to win these titles,” the 29-year-old added. “It’s something gratifying and addictive.
“It’s just about working hard on the field, lifting trophies and taking medals home. My focus is on that.”
