Just In: Chelsea set to hijack Tottenham’s transfer target

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea is plotting a move for Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Serhou Guirassy.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been told about the player and has sent scouts to watch him in action.

West Ham and Bournemouth both enquired about the 23 year old Amiens striker during the January transfer window while Brighton also expressed an interest.

Aston Villa and Celtic are also among the clubs tracking his performances.

Amiens are set to demand around £18million at the end of the season but the valuation could be lowered if they get relegated at the end of the season.

Guirassy has scored 8 goals in 21 Ligue 1 appearances this season and found the net twice against Paris Saint-Germain in a 4-4 draw last Saturday.
