Just in: Jose Mourinho finally confirms Harry Kane next club

Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are believed to be interested in the 27-year-old Spurs hitman.

However, Harry Kane’s future has been the talk of the media since April when he admitted that he is looking to leave Tottenham at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho who knows Kane very well from his time at Tottenham has admitted that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy may not permit Kane to leave the club. Mourinho has now maintained that Kane could most likely remain with his boyhood club.

“Him signing a new contract I don’t know. I would say that [Kane stays] probably is what is going to happen. I don’t see Mr Levy with the desire to sell him,” the ex-Spurs boss told talkSPORT.

“Of course Harry was very clear before the Euros but I don’t see Levy open for that, but only they know.”

Kane has an opportunity to win his first ever career trophy, with England to play Italy in the Euro 2020 final.

Mourinho has revealed that he has messaged the striker ahead of the game.

Asked if he had messaged Kane, Mourinho added: “Yes that’s what I do. Even to my Roma players with Italy. I told them I leave them in peace. I know for Harry how important it is, his desire to win titles, it will be his first one of his career.

“But really I leave him in peace because that’s what the players need. He knows the people that like him and we love that we are with him.”
