Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga returned to Chelsea’s starting line-up on Tuesday night for the FA Cup fifth-round clash against Liverpool.
The Spaniard has missed Chelsea’s last six games after a poor run of form, with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard opting for Willy Caballero instead.
Chelsea’s form with Kepa on the bench has been far from convincing with the Blues failing to secure a clean sheet.
Kepa sent a strong message to Lampard with an impressive performance against Liverpool, with the Spaniard producing a magnificent treble save midway through the first half.
Kepa also kept a clean sheet against Liverpool, Chelsea’s first in our last nine games.
Kepa will hope to be in the starting XI for the visit of Everton to Stamford Bridge this weekend.
