Chelsea appear to be no nearer to securing the future of Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has yet to pen a new deal with the club.
The 18-year-old is due to fall out of contract in 12 months but Chelsea are keen to get the hot prospect tied down to a new one as Europe’s top clubs continue to show an interest.
Bayern Munich are refusing to go away and could make another move to land the forward after they failed with at least two bids in the January transfer window.
Boss Frank Lampard has spoken recently saying that the club are working hard to get the player tied down to a new deal, but it seems to be taking longer than expected.
“No, no news,” Lampard said when quizzed about the latest situation.
“No news from the last time I spoke about it and it hasn’t been my priority to be honest.
” Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have all signed and, while Hudson-Odoi is expected to follow suit, rumours will continue to rumble on until he puts pen-to-paper.
