Ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been backed to drop Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal against Liverpool.
Former Chelsea player Craig Burley told ESPN: “Defensively, they’ve got to be better.
“I’m not sure what kind of personel they’ve got coming back, clearly Chilwell, Thiago Silva weren’t available.
“The goalkeeper didn’t cover himself in glory on Monday either, he was way over to his left-hand-side [for the Brighton goal].
“We know that story and where that’s probably going to end. “It wouldn’t surprise me if Caballero played, he’s done that before.
“He backed Kepa publicly last week but he knows, he knows Kepa was at fault for that goal.
“It didn’t cost them, but it might have done.”
