LEAKED: Chelsea player named winner of UEFA Men’s Player of the Year
The winner of the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year award has been linked ahead of the official announcement on Thursday.
According to Tuttomercatoweb via Metro, Chelsea midfielder Jorginho will be announced as the winner of the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year award, beating fellow Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
Jorginho has had a stellar year for both club and country, helping Chelsea win the Champions League and Italy win the European Championship.
Jorginho became only the 10th player in history to win both the Euros and Champions League in the same year and is also expected to be in with a chance of winning the Ballon d’Or later this year.
