Reigning European champions Liverpool have named their squad for the UEFA Super Cup clash with Premier League rivals Chelsea.

The Reds have named a 23-man squad to negotiate the Chelsea game.

Liverpool prepared for the game with an emphatic victory over newly promoted Premier League outfit Norwich City on Friday night.

The Reds thrashed Norwich City 4-1 in what was the first game of the new Premier League season.

On their part, Chelsea is not in a good form ahead of the UEFA Super Cup clash with Liverpool after their defeat to Manchester United in a Premier League clash.

The Blues lost 4-0 to Manchester United in their opening game of the new Premier League campaign.

The likes of Marcus Rashford (a brace), Anthony Martial and substitute Daniel James got the goals for Manchester United.
