Man Utd midfielder calls Kante a cheat, as Blues leading race to sign the next Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has claimed that Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will do whatever it takes to win, even if it means bending the rules.

Pogba told beIN Sports of Kante: “He cheats a lot. A lot. At card games, board games. Honestly, I’m telling the truth. He cheats.

“He says he doesn’t cheat, but he does. He uses cunning. He’s a smart kid, N’Golo. But it’s okay. You have to love him.

“He’s the most beloved soccer player in the history of football. You’ve got to love him, you cannot hate him, it is not possible.

“He is humble, kind, professional. He will never complain, he will work.”

Chelsea leading the race for the next Kevin De Bruyne

According to Daily Mirror via Daily Express, the Blues are leading the race for 15 year old Brondby ace Mads Bayer dubbed the next Kevin De Bruyne.

Bayer is still under a schoolboy contract at Brondby, which lasts until 2023 but the Danish club seem to have little chance of keeping him for too much longer, as he’s already attracted attention from Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Chelsea.

The Blues are keen on signing the teenager for the academy but face difficulties in doing so, as FIFA guidelines would currently prohibit the deal.

Due to Britain leaving the EU, teams in the Premier League are currently unable to buy any players under the age of 18 from abroad.

Chelsea are said to be looking at possible exemptions to the rule, which could involve Bayer moving to a different feeder club before coming to England when he’s a bit older.
