Marina Granovskaia finally reveals her favorite Chelsea signing in her prime at Chelsea ‘Is for Chelsea fans’

Journalist Matt Law has now shared who former chief Marina Granovskaia’s favourite ever Chelsea signing was.

He told the ‘London is Blue’ podcast that Eden Hazard’s addition in 2013 was her favourite, based on how many teams in Europe were looking to sign him.

Earlier this week, Hazard announced his retirement from the game at the unceremonious age of just 32.

He has been best remembered this week for his days at Stamford Bridge, where he helped Chelsea win near enough everything that was on offer.

Granovskaia rates Hazard

He iconically joined the club with a social media post saying he was joining the Champions of Europe following their victory over Bayern Munich in 2012.

Now, Law has claimed that Granovskaia sees the coup of the Belgian as her greatest signing during her time in the role at Chelsea.

He said: “I know for a fact Marina Granovskaia rated Eden Hazard as her favourite signing because of the level of competition. Everybody was in for him — literally everybody. She has told people close to her that is her favourite ever signing.”

Hazard’s retirement this week brought out a number of Chelsea faces both past and present who were wanting to wish him well on social media.

It is at this point unclear what is next for the Belgian, however one thing for sure is that he will always be welcome back at Stamford Bridge.
