A selection of Chelsea FC fans have raved about the performance of Mateo Kovacic following the club’s 2-1 Premier League triumph over Aston Villa at home.

The Blues went into the game on a three-match winless run but they managed to produce a solid display with Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount bagging the goals for them.
While the attackers got the plaudits for the victory, many Blues fans on Twitter have raved about Kovacic, who produced the perfect performance from the centre of the park.
Kovacic made nearly 100 passes through the course of the game and he was able to attain a successful rate of 93 percent. In addition to that, he provided four key passes and dominated the proceedings alongside N’Golo Kante.
