Midfielder to return back to Chelsea this summer, Blues to hijack Liverpool’s move for 21-year-old player, as Tuchel still eye €55m move for Serie A No.10 forward

Chelsea have a large array of big name players out on loan this season, and they will all need their futures sorting out going forward.

Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are just a couple of the high profile players they have out on loan right now, and both will be wondering about their next moves, or whether they will be staying at Stamford Bridge.

Another one is Tiemoue Bakayoko, who is currently on loan at Napoli. What does the future hold for him after a turmoil Chelsea career so far?

Well, according to Sports Journalist and self-proclaimed transfer expert, Nicolo Schira, Bakayoko “will come back to Chelsea at the end of the season.”

The midfielder will not be part of Napoli’s plans for next season and beyond, so Chelsea will have him back this summer.

I guess then, between Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel, and the player himself, they will need to decide what will be best for him going forward.

But things are not looking great for the former Monaco man.

Blues to hijack Liverpool move for 21-year-old player

According to transfer news from Express, Chelsea are planning an audacious swoop for Ibrahima Konate. It was reported that the French defender is very close to a move to Liverpool but now the Blues are planning to hijack the deal.

Konate has often been overshadowed by the more illustrious Dayot Upamecano. The latter is set to join Bayern Munich in the summer.

The Frenchman is a beast in the air and has put up numbers not too dissimilar to that of Upamecano. Still just 21, there is a long way to go in his career and could prove to be a shrewd acquisition.

The Leipzig man is one of the finest defenders in his age group and has a relatively modest €40million release clause. Although Leipzig are under no pressure to sell, they might just have to if the release clause is triggered.

Even though the Blues have conceded just twice in the 13 games they have played under Tuchel, they want to refresh their defensive options. With Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva ageing and Antonio Rudiger’s future still uncertain, it looks reasonable to add to the defensive ranks.

It has been claimed that the Blues are still firmly in the race for Konate and any deal to Liverpool or other clubs are still not close to the finish line.

Quite how this pans out is anyone’s wild guess. Chelsea very likely have the financial muscle to pull this deal off and swoop Konate from under the noses of Liverpool.

Chelsea weighing up €55m move for Serie A No.10 forward

A recent report from France has claimed that London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham are willing to pay up to €55m for a Juventus star this summer.

Argentina forward Paulo Dybala is the player in question, with the Serie A heavyweights ready to offload the player.

France Football states that Juve want to cash in on Paulo to raise funds for a new attacker, with the Blues and Spurs major contenders for his signature.

The report, as quoted by Sport Witness, claims the pair are ready to pay between €50-€55m to land the player.

Juventus will need to sell him this summer to get any kind of value for the attacker. That is due to the fact that his deal runs out in 2022.

The 27-year-old has only netted three goals and added two assists in 16 games this season. However, Dybala hasn’t featured in the Juve side since January because of a ligament injury.
