Milan player could join Chelsea after club sign replacement, La-liga club to sign Cesar Azpilicueta, as Tuchel breaks another record.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma despite signing the impressive Edouard Mendy from Rennes last summer.

Donnarumma is in the final year of his AC Milan contract and he has stalled on signing a new contract with the Italian club amid interest from Chelsea and PSG.

According to Sport1 via Goal, AC Milan have sealed the signing of Mike Maignan from Lille for around €15 million (£13m/$18m) as replacement for Donnarumma.

The signing means Gianluigi Donnarumma will leave the Rossoneri for free at the end of the season.

La-liga club to sign Cesar Azpilicueta

According to El Gol Digital via Goal, Spanish side Atletico Madrid are keen on signing Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

The report claims Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is a keen admirer of the 31-year-old, who is approaching the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge.

Despite entering the final year of his Chelsea contract next season, the Blues are yet to offer Azpilicueta an extension, and Atletico are hoping to capitalise on the uncertainty surrounding his future.

Thomas Tuchel has broken another record

In what has been a wonderful start to his Chelsea career, Thomas Tuchel has lifted morale at Chelsea, as the Blues have been a different side since he took over in January.

Following the win against West Ham away from home, Tuchel has now become the first Chelsea manager to remain unbeaten in his first ten away games in charge of the club.

With 8 wins and 2 draws, Tuchel is yet to taste an away defeat, and his team has also scored 14 goals and conceded just 3 goals away from home.

Chelsea’s 1-0 win over West Ham has now ensured that the Blues maintain their position as 4th in the league, and 3 points ahead of West Ham, with 4 ahead of Liverpool.

With 33 games played, Chelsea have just 5 games left to end the Premier League season, and Tuchel who was employed when Chelsea were in mid-table, will be pleased with what he has achieved this season.
