Mudryk could be in ‘hot water’ after disobeying Chelsea’s orders

Mykhailo Mudryk could be in hot water with Chelsea after he reportedly disobeyed strict orders from the club regarding his fitness regime.

According to the Daily Express, Mudryk continues to over-exert himself in the gym.

Mudryk had been warned a few weeks ago by Chelsea that he was pushing himself too hard and doing too many gym sessions.

This can have a negative effect on footballers in terms of strength and conditioning, and it is well known that it is not ideal for footballers to be too bulky and muscley.

But it seems as if Mudryk is continuing to go hard in the gym since the request.

Mudryk has had a disastrous first nine months at the club.

The wideman joined Chelsea for €100 million in January after the Blues hijacked Arsenal’s deal for the Ukrainian winger.

However, Mudryk has flopped badly at Stamford Bridge.

He has managed just one goal and two assists in 24 appearances amidst a string of poor performances.

Mudryk’s poor form resulted in him dropping down the attacking pecking order.

However, he finally score his first goal for Chelsea earlier this week in the 2-0 win at Fulham.

He also came on as a substitute on Saturday as Chelsea made it three wins in a row in all competitions by beating Burnley 4-1.
