Achraf Hakimi has opened the door to a summer move with Chelsea and Arsenal battling to land the Real Madrid youngster.
The defender is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where Achraf has established himself as one of the most in-demand right-backs in Europe.
Chelsea have reportedly held discussions to sign Hakimi, while Arsenal, Tottenham, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich have also expressed an interest in the transfer. Hakimi is due to return to Los Blancos this summer after two years at Dortmund and the star revealed he is yet to decide where his future lies.
Hakimi told Cadena SER: ‘Who does not like it [being linked with big clubs]? I am proud of what I am doing.
‘In June I will have to make a decision and it will be a great step for my career. In theory, my contract ends in June and from there I have to return to Madrid.
‘I don’t know when my contract ends, that subject is taken by my agent,’ the Morocco man added. ‘It is the same contract that I signed in 2017.’
Achraf reportedly informed Real he doesn’t want to play for the club next campaign if he will be demoted to the bench, The star is under contract with Los Blancos until the summer of 2022 and has a reported release clause of £50 million.
