OFFICIAL BBC: Chelsea Legend Named As A New Manager

 

Chelsea FC are still looking for a new manager to replace their Italian manager, Antonio Conte, who seems on the edge of being sacked in the coming few hours or days as a new Italian manager, Mauricio Sarri, was reported to be on the edge of joining the Stamford Bridge.

However, one of Chelsea legends was named a few moments ago as a new manager for his new club, where the English midfielder, Frank Lampard, has begun his managerial career officially in England after joining a new club in a surprisingly moving recently.

According to the English news network, BBC, FrankLampard was named as a new manager for the Championship club, Derby County, where the former Chelsea and England midfielder will be taking charge of the club as of the upcoming season, 2018/2019, as his first step into the managerial career in England.

Frank Lampard, 39 years old, signed a three years contract with Derby County where he was chosen from around 20 candidates to take that role.

Frank Lampard expressed his happiness and privilege to manage Derby County and said:” I always wanted to be a manager of a club with a big tradition and history like Derby County.”

Knowing that Frank Lampard was named by some reports as a potential candidate to manage Chelsea FC where he played 649 matches for the London Club and he is the club top goalscorer as well where he played until 2014 before he leaves to Manchester City and New York City until he retired last year, in February 2017.
