Chelsea’s official website confirms Chelsea youngster George McEachran has joined Dutch side SC Cambuur on loan until the end of the 2019/20 season.
This will be the first loan spell for the 19-year-old midfielder who signed a 3-year contract extension with his boyhood club in the summer.
Last year, McEachran was part of the Chelsea squad for the Europa League final in Baku. This season, he has made 21 appearances for the youth teams and scored against Ajax in the UEFA Youth League game.
Now, the U17 World Cup winner with England in 2017 will be earning experience in the senior football at SC Cambuur who are currently top of the second tier of Dutch football.
However, negotiations still going on for the senior squad looking forward to add some new faces to the team before the deadline.
