AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini and his son Daniel have made a full recovery after testing positive for COVID-19, it was officially announced on Wednesday.

The Italians have now joined the growing list of football players and personalities who have beaten the coronavirus pandemic.

Below are Football personalities to have recovered from COVID-19:

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta
Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi
Juventus players Daniele Rugani, Blaise Matuidi and Paulo Dybala
Valencia centre-back Ezequiel Garay
Former Turkey goalkeeper Rustu Recber
Paderborn defender Luca Kilian
Fiorentina trio Patrick Cutrone, German Pezzella, Dusan Vlahovic
Portsmouth players James Bolton, Sean Raggett, Andy Cannon, Haji Mnoga and Ross McCrorie
Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis
While just one Premier League player and one manager have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, it doesn’t mean that football will be back anytime soon.

Meanwhile, the Premier League clubs have unanimously decided to postpone the season indefinitely instead of resuming it at the beginning of May, as it was expected.

Nevertheless, the objective remains to play all remaining domestic league and cup matches. Thus, the PL officials have held talks with the UK government on possibly resuming the season in June, with the campaign being played with strict guidelines and behind closed doors.
