Boehly has had his eye on Neymar for some time now
In July last year, it was reported that Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehli was looking to bring Neymar to Stamford Bridge but his manager at the time, Thomas Tuchel, was against the idea
Whether current head coach Mauricio Pochettino would be more open to the 31-year-old joining his squad is unknown. He worked with the PSG player, but so did Tuchel.
Chelsea need younger and stronger players
Neymar isn’t exactly a spring chicken at the moment, with the forward turning 32 by the middle of next season. You also have to consider his strength record, and it’s not great.
The Brazil international is currently recovering from ankle surgery and that is one of SEVEN separate injuries he has suffered since moving to France just about six years ago.
Given Chelsea’s transfer policy of signing young talent since the arrival of a new owner, Neymar certainly wouldn’t be the best fit for that job despite his potential
