It appears Premier League rivals Manchester City are still bitter Jorginho chose Chelsea over Manchester City when he left Napoli in the summer of 2018.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis made the revelation while disclosing difficulties in talks with Manchester City over the transfer of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
According to De Laurentiis, he is finding it difficult conducting talks with Manchester City over a possible sale of Koulibaly because Manchester City are still bitter over how the negotiations for Jorginho went down two years ago.
“How can we have a normal and calm negotiation with Manchester City to sell Koulibaly?” De Laurentiis said, according to Daily Express.
“They won’t talk directly with us because of the Jorginho deal two years ago.”
