(Photo): John Terry sends ‘powerful’ message to Saka, Sancho and Rashford
As we all know Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho all missed their penalties against Italy in the Euro 2020 final.
However, this was followed by a detestable outpouring of racially motivated abuse and online trolling that has seen millions of people rise to defend the trio.
Meanwhile, Chelsea legend John Terry is the latest to do so, writing a long and touching message on Instagram, individually addressing all 3 players.
He wrote, “Shocking & Disgusting what these three young men have had to go through.
“Marcus Rashford, a young man who has single handedly helped feed the people of our country when the government failed. Doing things for both Manchester United & England that is exceptional both on and off the pitch.
“Bukayo Saka, at 19 years old, this young man has set the Euros alight with his performances and playing with no fear at the highest level.
“Jadon Sancho, an excellent young talent and the future of our England team.
“We all stand with you boys, hold your heads high because you have done our country proud and made us all believe it was possible.
“Thank You! You are ALL HEROES.”
Terry has once again displayed his natural leadership skills by vocally backing all 3 players and condemning their bullies in assertive and straightforward terms.
