Mendy: Made a couple of good saves in the first half, especially a very good save to deny Karim Benzema. Top class performance. 8/10
Christensen: Comfortable evening in a Blue shirt as he played on the right side of the back three. 8/10
Thiago Silva: The Brazilian stood in the middle of the back three and was very assured at the back. Marshaled the defence very and his organisation was evident all through the game. 8.5/10
Rudiger: Very robust performance. Very solid at the back and some of his runs were very helpful. Forced Courtois to make one fine save in the first half with a fierce shot. 9/10
Azpilicueta: Very experienced display from the captain, and he totally locked the right flank. Did well to support the attack especially in the second half. 8.5/10
Jorginho: His passing was good, as well as his positional play. Got booked early on for a rash tackle on Eden Hazard, but he got better after. 8.5/10
Kante: He was great tonight and just seemed to do everything right on the pitch. Played a key role in the first goal after a fine turn of pace. Missed a good chance, but was just too brilliant. He won the ball so many times, and his pressing was impressive. 9/10
Chilwell: Vinicius Jr. tried to give him a tough time at the back, but he held this own against the tricky Brazilian. Good game. 8/1
Mount: Missed a glittering chance in the second half but atoned for it with a goal in the second half. Was brilliant tonight. Besides his work rate, his ability on the ball was too good for the Real Madrid side. 9/10
Werner: It’s one of those games where he deserves a pat on the back. He pressed high upfront, and his performance was just electric. Used his pace to cause troubles for Madrid. Well placed for the first goal. 8.5/10
Kai Havertz: Stunning performance. This game marks his best game in a Chelsea shirt because it was against a top Real Madrid side. Justified his starting shirt with a very fine performance. His skills and ability on the ball was world class. The Real Madrid defence couldn’t handle him. Hit the bar twice and was unfortunate not to score. 9/10
Subs” Pulisic: Made the manager know that he doesn’t deserve to be on the bench. He terrorised Real Madrid defence from his first minute on the pitch until the end of the game. Fine assist for Mount’s goal. 8/10
Reece James: Late sub.
Ziyech: Late sub
Giroud: Late sub
