Alan Brazil believes Romelu Lukaku should consider retiring from football after what happened to the Chelsea striker recently.

Well, the Belgium international seemed likely to join Juventus this summer after failing to show up at Cobham for pre-season training.
However, Juventus supporters made their feelings about Lukaku crystal clear after hearing the news.
Juventus fans created a banner which told the Belgian he will “never be welcome” in Turin, before supporters actually invaded the pitch in their numbers to demand that the 30-year-old is not signed.
Now, Brazil has admitted that he feels Lukaku should simply retire after being treated in this manner.
The Glasgow-born pundit said: “I’ll be honest with you Lukaku, the way things have gone of late, he’s a wealthy lad, I think I’d just hang my boots up. When fans are doing what they are doing and giving you pelters and nobody seems to want you, why put up with it? Life is too short.”

While it may seem like a harsh response to Lukaku’s current situation, it is all of his own making.
Firstly, the Belgian made a rod for his own back by holding that famous interview about his desire to rejoin Inter Milan one day, just months after completing a club-record £97.5m move back to Chelsea.
That effectively ended his second stint at Stamford Bridge, before Lukaku somehow ended up angering everyone at Inter Milan after holding talks with rival sides AC Milan and Juventus.
Lautaro Martinez has even admitted that Lukaku ignored phone calls from people at Inter Milan who were keen to know more about his situation.
The Antwerp-born striker seems to upset people wherever he goes, and while we feel a bit of sympathy about how Juventus fans have treated him, his unpopularity is largely of his own making.
