Pochettino confirms two key Chelsea players suffferd injuries against Crystal Palace

Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed two Chelsea stars are doubts for the game against Luton Town after picking up knocks in the victory over Crystal Palace.

According to Pochettino, Romeo Lavia picked up a knock towards the end of our victory against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.

“Lavia felt something and we need to check and hope it’s not too bad,” Pochettino said.

“We are a little bit worried because if you watch the game [against Crystal Palace] I had to change his position with (Conor) Gallagher at the end because he was struggling to run.

“We will see what is going on. We hope it’s not a big issue and he can be with us again. He’s an important player that we recovered, and it’s going to be a shame if we cannot use him in the next few games.”

Pochettino confirmed that Mykhailo Mudryk would also need to be assessed ahead of tomorrow’s game after he limped off during the second half of our victory over Crystal Palace
