Pochettino speaks on potential incoming signings for Chelsea this January

CHELSEA manager Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking on any potential incomings in the January transfer window

We are one of the clubs that are expected to do some transfer business this January after a poor start to the season has left them down in 10th position in the Premier League and way off the chase for a top four spot.

It is no secret that Pochettino wants to add some experience to the side and try to sign players that could make a real difference to the squad – but so far this transfer window – there has not yet been any significant business.

Now Pochettino has been speaking on any potential incomings in the January transfer window

“As a club, we are all in conversation. The relationship is good and we are going to do what is best for the club and to try to perform and win games.

“Our objective is to look after the squad and be involved with the players and staff. We talk about a new team, but different areas of the club are new also. We need to co-ordinate and create this way to work and to perform, this is important too.

“We are talking and we will decide as a club the best for us.”

On a potential extension for Thiago Silva: “At the moment, we are not talking with players. I don’t believe the club is talking.

“In my opinion, it’s the moment now to work all together and get the results that we want.

“This is going to be between the player and the club to decide what is the best for both sides for the future. But I don’t think they are talking, maybe I need to ask after.”
