Pulisic reveals why Chelsea players always gets injured as he no longer gets injured since leaving Chelsea

Chelsea are one of the teams who have suffered injury problems the most this season. As a matter of fact, it has been a regular problem since last season.

Just this week, Romeo Lavia, Ben Chilwell, Robert Sanchez, Trevoh Chalobah and Carney Chukwuemeka suffered injury setbacks, to add to a number of players who are still out injured.

What could be the problem at Chelsea?

Chelsea’s medical department have faced a lot of scrutiny this season. The club has already changed plenty of medical staff, but the results still remain the same.

Interestingly, injury-prone players who have left the club no longer suffer injury problems – example Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic.

Christian Pulisic was one of the most injury-prone Chelsea players during his time at Stamford Bridge. However, since moving to AC Milan, he’s been mostly injury-free, missing just six games for club and country this season.

Pulisic believes a change of environment and regular games could be the factor.

“I wouldn’t say there’s been a big change, or something that I’ve done,” the American told FOX Sports when asked about the reasons behind the change.

“I’ve taken good care of my body for sure. But it’s just been good to get that consistent game time. Your body just kind of gets accustomed to it, which has been really helpful.

“When you’re constantly in and out of the lineup, it can be hard. Your body isn’t prepared for that constant wear, so then when you come in and give a high-intensity performance, it can definitely be a problem.

“But this season I’m just feeling good and confident. And that’s when I play my best.”
