“I don’t know where you’ve signed him” “He’s nowhere good enough” – Mikel Obi says £35m Chelsea man should not be playing for Chelsea

TalkSPORT pundit, Mikel Obi was not at all impressed by Benoit Badiashile’s performance for Chelsea during Wednesday’s 4-1 defeat to Liverpool.

Badiashile started the game at Anfield as a central defender for Chelsea, before later switching to left-back.

The 22-year-old was however not in his element at all, and was directly culpable for two goals that Chelsea conceded against the Reds.

After the game, former Chelsea midfielder was far from pleased with what he’d seen from the former AS Monaco defender, so much that he even questioned the decision to sign him in the first place.

The former midfielder said of Badiashile while discussing the Frenchman on talkSPORT: “Not good enough. I don’t know who he is. I don’t know where you’ve signed him from. He’s nowhere near good enough, he’s nowhere near good enough.”

Badiashile will also be unhappy with himself after yesterday’s display for the Blues. Maybe it was just a bad day at the office, but the defender certainly can’t allow those mistakes to come up again, otherwise, he may well find himself spending more time on the bench so early in his Chelsea career.
