REPORT: £45m-rated player ready to leave Chelsea in January after latest decision

According to Football Insider, Chelsea striker Timo Werner is seriously considering a return to the Bundesliga in January amid interest from Bayern Munich.

A move to Bayern Munich reportedly appeals to Werner as he would have the chance to work with his former RB Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsmann.

Bayern Munich are reportedly confident they can sign the Chelsea striker in January and are already working on a deal.

Werner has struggled to impress in the Premier League following his £45million transfer from RB Leipzig.

He scored 12 goals and provided 15 assists from 52 matches in all competitions last season and has not convinced Thomas Tuchel or the Chelsea coaching staff.
