According to Spanish media outlet Marca, Real Madrid are prepared to part ways with Gareth Bale this summer.
However, Chelsea have been linked with the wales forward in the past but it isn’t known if Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will want the experience of the Madrid forward in the Chelsea squad next season.
Meanwhile, Marca claim Real Madrid are prepared to let Bale leave for free this summer as his £350,000-a-week after tax wages can’t be justified.
Real Madrid also believe no club would be prepared to meet their valuation of Bale.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be interested in signing the 30 year old.
Should the Blues join the race for Bale as a free agent this summer?
