Eden Hazard will likely be easier to persuade to stay at Chelsea if the Blues will appoint Zinedine Zidane as their hew boss instead of Maurizio Sarri, The Sun claims.
According to the outlet, the arrival of former Madrid boss will ‘encourage’ Hazard to stay put and discuss new terms. The Belgian’s current deal expires in the summer of 2020.
If you think about it, Hazard has played under mostly defensive managers at Chelsea (Sarri has given him more of a free role but we’re struggling to attack efficiently) and Zidane could fix that (he obviously had better players at Madrid too). But it’s still a pipe dream.
