REVEALED: Chelsea in talks over €106million transfer after urgent request by Maurizio Sarri

Chelsea are reportedly already working on a a stunning €106million double transfer swoop for Edinson Cavani and Nicolo Barella.

The Blues need strengthening this January after a mixed start under Maurizio Sarri, who inherited a struggling squad from Antonio Conte last summer.

Cavani looks urgently needed up front after some poor form from Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud which has forced Sarri to play Eden Hazard up front.

According to the Express, CFC seem to be working on this by submitting a big-money bid for Paris Saint-Germain star Cavani.

The report also links the west London giants with Barella, an exciting young attacking midfielder from Serie A side Cagliari.

Both could clearly improve this Chelsea squad, and it may be that they’ll be on their way to Stamford Bridge imminently.

Chelsea have also been linked with moves for a new defender this winter, while players like Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill are nearing exits from the club.
