Revealed: Four Players Chelsea Are Targeting To Replace Real Madrid Target

Chelsea have reportedly drawn-up a four-man shortlist of potential replacements for Thibaut Courtois.

All has gone quiet on the Courtois front, but the Belgian is still expected to sign for Real Madrid this summer.

Following the World Cup, reports emerged suggesting that Courtois was close to becoming a Real Madrid player. It’s yet to happen, but that’s not to say it won’t.

There’s time left in the transfer window, which is concerning for all those hoping to keep hold of the 26-year-old.

Reassuringly, Chelsea are already preparing for his departure. According to the Daily Mail, four players have been considered by the club.

Those are, per the report, Petr Cech, Joe Hart, Jack Butland and Jordan Pickford, though Everton aren’t keen on selling the latter.

None of those are the sort of calibre we should be targeting to replace Courtois. It’s a real concern as the days tick down towards the deadline…
