Revealed: the details of €73m signing’s chelsea contract ahead of completion of the deal

In case you missed it, reports in Italy have claimed that AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker is on the verge of becoming a Chelsea player.

It’s believed that Chelsea offered €65m plus €8M in bonuses for the Brazilian, which appears to be enough to prise him away from the Stadio Olimpico.

Chelsea look keen to secure their replacement for Thibaut Courtois before the Belgian departs the summer, which is shrewd business, we can’t afford to be left short.

Alisson is also one of just a handful of goalkeepers in the world who have the capability to fill Courtois’ shoes (rather, gloves).

According to Centro Suono Sport, Alisson will earn €5.5M-a-year as a Chelsea player. That works out at around €105K-a-week.

We await this news being verified by a more renown and reputable source before getting too excited, but our interest in signing the 25-year-old appears genuine.

Let’s wait and see…
