REVIEW: Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea

Chelsea will be hoping to claim revenge against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur for their English Premier League defeat at Wembley in November when they two sides meet again under the arch this evening in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

The Blues reached the same stage of the competition last season before being beaten by another North London club, Arsenal, over two legs.

Tottenham Hotspur go into their home leg without defender Eric Dier through injury while attacking pair Lucas Moura and Victor Wanyama are also expected to be sidelined.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is set to field a strong starting XI after resting the majority of his first choice players for the 7-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup on Friday evening.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is expected to have forwards Pedro, Olivier Giroud and Willian all available for selection once again after the trio missed the 2-0 home victory over Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues will be without Ruben Loftus-Cheek who has a back injury while Mateo Kovacic could be handed a late fitness test.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 8pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football channels.
