Roman Abramovich sends massive ‘Instruction’ message to Raine Group ahead of Chelsea sale
Ahead of Chelsea sale Roman Abramovich has instructed Raine Group to demand a commitment of spending £1billion on the club from interested buyers of Chelsea.

The Russian billionaire have instructed Raine to seek those future spending commitments in a bid to safeguard Chelsea’s future at football’s elite level.
Raine Group have shortlisted four groups for the final stage in the bidding process to buy Chelsea and have given them a deadline of April 11 to submit their final bids.
Boston Celtics co-owner Stephen Pagliuca, the Ricketts family, Sir Martin Broughton’s consortium and Todd Boehly’s consortium are the four preferred bidders.
Abramovich put Chelsea up for sale on 2 March, amid Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine.
Following sanctions on the Russian billionaire from the UK government, he would be unable to profit from the sale of Chelsea.
