Romano confirms Chelsea reach agreement over deal with Brazilian player
According to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has reached a verbal agreement with Thiago Silva over the extension of his contract.
Silva joined Chelsea last summer as a free agent on a one year deal with an option of another following the expiration of his PSG contract.
The Brazilian defender has impressed since joining Chelsea, becoming a key player for the Blues this season.
Romano tweeted: “Chelsea are set to reach an agreement with Thiago Silva and he’s staying, here we go soon!
“The contract extension has not been signed yet but the verbal agreement is almost done – just a matter of time, waiting for #CFC to complete paperworks after the final.”
