Rudiger demands ‘fresh wages’ from Chelsea board before summer transfer
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger contract with Chelsea ends at the end of the season as Blues are trying hard to tie down the German man.
However, according to latest reports, Rudiger has reportedly shocked the Chelsea board with his latest wage demands
Rudiger has been in the headlines alot over the past few months as there is alot of speculation about whether or not he will stay at the club, or leave to join the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayerun Munich or Juventus
It is no secret that the club, who could lose up to three defenders in the summer window, are very keen to make sure that he stays at Stamford Bridge as he has been in fine form this season
But those displays have only strengthened Rudiger’s belief that he should be one of the club’s top earners and he has an offer on the table from Real Madrid to move to Spain
We were taken aback at the start of the season when Rudiger demanded around £200,000-a-week but the Athletic claim those demands have since increased, with the defender now seeking around £225,000-a-week.
That’s before any signing-on fee, which is likely to be significant given the club would face losing Rudiger on a free transfer.
