Sad news as another two Chelsea stars out of Tottenham clash

In recent weeks, Chelsea has been without several first-team players due to injury, including Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling, and Reece James.

Following hernia surgery, Enzo Fernandez was also sidelined for the remainder of the season and did not play in the most recent game.

Due to injuries, Mauricio Pochettino has ruled out two more players for Chelsea’s Premier League matchup against Tottenham.

Speaking at his pre-Spurs press conference, Pochettino said he had ‘no good news’ on the injury front as he confirmed that Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi would also miss the London derby clash at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night.

Asked for an update on his squad, Pochettino said: “No good news because we cannot recall any players from the last [injury] list. And we need to add two more – Disasi and Thiago, they are not available for tomorrow.”

Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah will be Pochettino’s main option to partner in defence against Tottenham.
