Sarri Finally Reveals The Only Problem He Has With Eden Hazard

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has started the season in fine form and he leads the Premier League’s scoring charts with seven goals in just eight games.

This is Hazard’s best start to a season and Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri believes Eden Hazard could become one of best three players in the world.

However, Sarri revealed the only problem he has with Hazard is that the Belgian captain ‘plays to enjoy himself and at times doesn’t realise the importance of moving from fun to reaping the rewards’.

“Hazard is immense and I don’t think even he knows how much he can still improve,” Sarri told Corriere dello Sport.

“I said he could end up in the tight circle of the best three or four players in the world.

“The problem is he plays to enjoy himself and at times doesn’t realise the importance of moving from fun to reaping the rewards. At the end of the day, you’ve got to get the fruits of your labour.

“Hazard’s approach is a positive, but it can become a potential limitation too.

“He needs to lift his head up, look around and realise there’s a whole world in front of him that he can dictate with his feet for the good of the collective and not just the individual.”

Hazard’s sensational form has seen him heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid but Sarri has absolutely no intention of allowing the winger to leave Stamford Bridge.

“His contract expires in 2020, he’s staying here,” Sarri added.
