Chelsea transfer target Michael Olise scored and provided 2 assists in Crystal Palace’s 3-2 win over Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

The France Under 21 international is believed to be still on the Blues’ radar, despite the club having failed in their attempts to secure his signature last summer. Following Olise’s display against the Blades, it has prompted more debate among fans on X about whether Mauricio Pochettino’s side should snap up the winger:

Olise’s injury record is a big issue

The 22-year-old has only played 10 games this season due to fitness problems. He picked up a hamstring injury playing for France at the European Under 21 Championships last year and he only returned in November.

Olise subsequently picked up a similar issue which had kept him out of action for four games prior to the Sheffield United fixture. Worryingly, he also appeared to limp off following his performance on Tuesday.

Chelsea will face competition for the Frenchman

Respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that both Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in Olise, along with Chelsea.

The fact that the winger reportedly has a £60m release clause will make him an attractive target for many clubs, and if he continues to put in performances like he did against the Blades, there will be a scramble to sign him this summer.

@TycraneV: Injury prone

@Lord_beysh: Seriously ???? sell Gallagher and get him in asap

@JubrilAjose1: Absolutely ridiculously good player. But we would have to sell one of Sterling, Mudryk or Madueke.

@hauwachukwu: Another hospital player? NO

@bigxmaestro: So easy get rid of sterling and madueke.. finish

@PopSarah: Why? So he can sit on the injured list.

@Pochettiniac: Sterling for him. Easy.
