Six-year contract? as Chelsea finally reach agreement with club to sign Antonio Rudiger’s replacement
The Blues will be looking forward to replace Rudiger after the defender decline latest Chelsea contract offer.
However, following latest reports, Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement to sign defender viewed as a replacement for Antonio Rudiger.
The German International contract at Chelsea expires at the end of the season and the 28 year old German centre-back is yet to reach an agreement with Chelsea over a new contract.
According to Football London, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Turkish club Fenerbahce to sign Hungarian defender Attila Szalai.
Szalai, 23, has previously been labelled the Hungarian Virgil Van Dijk and is viewed as a replacement for Rudiger, who could leave for Real Madrid or Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
Chelsea have agreed a €23.4million (£20m) fee with Fenerbahce to sign the 23 year old centre-back and he is set to commit to a six-year contract and earn an annual salary of €4m (£3.4m).
